Today has just been so wonderful so far - everything has seemed to work in my favour.
It all started when I went to the counselor after picking up my schedule…it’s not the same counselor I had last year! That guy was a dick. This lady kicks ass.
She said that they usually don’t do this unless it doesn’t work out any other way, but she switched things around so that I have 0 period through 7th with 4th period off. Of course, that’s not the reason I went up in the first place. I just had to change Calculus AB AP to Calculus BC AP and Physics B AP to Physics C AP. Because I guess I’m more of a masochist than I originally thought.
4th period off means I get double lunch - that’s two hours for lunch! I can have lunch with everyone! But in all likelihood I’m going to spend most of the time in the library or asleep in my car. Whatever the case, I’m thrilled.
Then the job interview at GameStop went great - now I’ll just have to convince my dad into letting my take the job. The hiring manager said that he is very flexible for those of us in high school, and that a minimum of 12 hours a week should be fine.
Etcetera, etcetera. I’m really happy about my schedule (save the fact that I have a supposedly shitty English teacher), so happy I could read Crime and Punishment.
