Finished High School

Really?  I thought this day would never come.

Today was the last day of exams, of which I had none.  Still, I had to get a couple signatures to withdraw from school and “officially” be finished.  I decided to hang around, though.

I went to the 3D art class to help sand down the tables – that was mega-tiring, but fun.  For a couple hours we sanded tables.  I don’t know why I offerred to help – the gays.

Last night our class president organized a pillow fight between exams on the school’s grassy knoll as the senior class “prank” (it’s not really a prank, but whatever).  So, the 3D students spent a couple hours labouriously sanding tables, arms aching and tired, and the bell rings.  We grab our pillows and walk outside.  When the whistle blows, chaos breaks out.

I felt a little bad about hitting people I don’t even know, but I think they understood.  It was a lot of fun – great bonding time.  There’s nothing better then letting out four years of pent up frustration by beating your peers with pillows.

Hope someone took pictures.

It only lasted about ten minutes, but everyone was exhausted and giddy.

There are so many things I want to say about the past four years and, regarding some people the past 10-12 years, but I don’t even know where to begin.  So, I’ve decided not to.

I’ll just list some things.  Humanities, orchestra, Dir en grey (2x), projects, TMEA, AcDec, people, Chapman (computer science).

I’m very happy I got to meet all the people I’ve met.  I don’t expect I’ll ever see most of you ever again, but I hope you know I am very appreciative of your company for the past few years.

by the way, ryan videotaped it – so be ready for a slow-motion play-by-play of the pillow fight undoubtedly set to the 300 movie soundtrack to appear on facebook in the near future… anyways, I am extremely grateful to have met you, nicole, and for the things that youve said that have made me laugh for the last 11 or so years. some of the best ones:"Do you think ugly people are self-aware?" (regarding.. guess who!)"Free whoppers for a year? Well, that's…disgusting. That's absolutely disgusting."Thanks, and we're going to hang out this summer… I promise. And like with some people, I'm just saying that. Because of your impressive intuition, you know that with you, I'm not.

I say some of the weirdest things around you; I'm so happy you're there to remind meAmanda, it's because I was wary of you at first. Plus, I would abandon anyone at a concert. Don't take it personally. You turned out cool. Bitch.Emily, who said anything about forgetting you? I'll always remember the Wyatt PACE girls!

  14. Christie says:

  15. Praneeta says:

Nicole, I still remember the first time I met you back in first grade. I was the odd new kid to school and you and lindsey were the only people who were truly open and excited to become friends with me, no wonder we became such good friends instantly…I still remember how weird we were back in the day hahaha…Remember your birthday sleepover party in 2nd grade? I was pretty much obsessed with the Spice Girls movie after that haha…and then later on my 15th birthday when I had that huge sleepover party when we watched the grudge in Japanese loll "Toshio" Alex: "Girl what's wrong with your eye?"…hahaha, good timesAnd even though I know I can be really terrible about keeping in touch, please don't make this good bye! You know I will always be there :)

  16. Praneeta says:

I didn't quite finish because I accidentally hit enter…but I almost forgot the 6th grade memory during our orchestra concert rehearsal when you turned the mic on and clearly said,"I wonder if there's anyone stupid enough to pick this up…" and seriously 1 second later tyler comes sliding like michael jackson and screams/sings "Aaaaah!" ahahahahaha wow, not a lot of things beats how funny that was. Aah, Mrs. Gearhart was furious and looked like a duck walking towards him. But I just want to end by saying how great a person you truly are. You are kind, intelligent, clever and witty. I am so thankful we have known each other and been friends since the first grade. I won't ever forget you, and I will miss you. This isn't goodbye, so keep in touch!:)
