I’m re-reading Battle Royale, but since I lost my first edition copy, I bought the newly-released second edition. Since this death log is oh-so-useful, I figured I would add the pages from the second edition.

Is the second much shorter than the first edition? It seems that everyone dies about 10+ pages earlier.
Say, if I went to a bookstore and sought for BR, how would I know if it was the second edition? By the publishing date?
